Our district will be celebrating Native American Heritage Month, November 2023, with several activities and events throughout our community. On Wednesday November 15, 2023,
Pawhuska Students will put on Exhibition Style Dancing and Singing in the Field house, more info below:
We will have two sessions, parents are invited to attend:
★ The first session will be from 9:00-10:30 am (pre-k through 5th grade in attendance)
★ The second session will be from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm (6th- 12th grade in attendance)
Permission slips to participate in the exhibition style dancing will be located in each
building office and will be due by Nov. 10th to help with our daily attendance. If you have any questions please reach out to MS. Forte the Indian Education Director at ext # 5145

The OKC Thunder hosted a Native American Student Day event on Nov. 6th. Several Pawhuska NASA club members performed at the event.







A Chrysler key fob was found at the stadium after the Pawhuska Youth Sports football game. Please contact the administration office for more information. 918-287-1265

The Upper Elementary cafeteria is serving lunch today for all students from 11:00-12:00. The menu is fish and fries.

Native American Day Meal -
Pawhuska Public Schools will host a Native American Day on November 15, 2023. The cafeteria at Indian Camp Elementary and Pawhuska Elementary will be serving meat gravy, fry bread, roasted potatoes, green beans and grape dumplings. The cost for visitors is $4.85 a meal. We are expecting higher participation on this day. If you are planning on attending and eating as a visitor please call the site office of the school you are eating. All reservations for the meal will need to be made by November 7, 2023 so that the food can be ordered. Meals will be served 11am -noon.
